Add Premium Customization to Your Directory
With Instant Church Directory Premium you can change more labels and the look of the directory. The additional customizations available with the premium option include:
- Custom logo integration.
- Custom color options.
- Additional label substitutions for Staff, Activities, Group, Church, and Pastor.
- The ability to have unlimited editors.
These customizations can only be done by the Account Owner on Premium Membership Accounts. Editors will not be able to make these updates to a directory account.

To make any changes to your directory, go to My Account >> Settings >> Customization Settings
On the Customization page, you can upload your logo, change color and make changes to any other labels.
IMPORTANT: If you change your plan at any point FROM the Premium service, any Premium-only customized settings you have implemented will revert back to the default settings immediately.
Customize Family Labels
Update Your Logo
When you upload a new logo, it will replace any existing Instant Church Directory logo in all locations. Your updated logo will appear on your administrator account and also on the members' website. Your custom logo will not be updated in the mobile app.
Upload your logo using the drag-and-drop feature or click the + to upload a logo from your computer. Once uploaded, your logo will show to the right of the box.
IMPORTANT: The logo will be placed on a white background, so you will want to be sure your logo is not white.
Change Your Directory Colors
Updating your directory color will change the default blue accent color, mainly seen in the menu bars, menu text, and buttons to the new color that you have chosen. Be sure to choose a color that will not interfere with the readability of the menu text. Use the color picker to choose your color preference.
NOTE: If you choose to update the colors, but not update to another logo, the blue Instant Church Directory logo will change to the color you've chosen. The color picker will not change the color of any logo that YOU upload, however.
Change Church Label
Under Church Label Singular, replace "Church" with the singular version of the word you'd like to use instead of Church. This change will only show to administrators. This wording will only show in places such as "your online church directory" that appears on the dashboard of your admin account.
Examples: Residence, Charity, Society, Organization, Business
Change Additional Labels
There are 4 additional custom labels you can edit under a Premium Membership. Please review the numbers below to see what labels you can change and where they show.
Change Staff Label
Under Staff Label Singular, replace "Staff" with the singular version of the word you'd like to use instead of Family.
Under Staff Label Plural, replace "Staff" with the plural version of the word you'd like to use instead of Staff. All instances of Staff in singular and plural tenses will be replaced with the wording you choose.
Examples: Staff and Staff Members, Teachers or Teachers, Director or Directors
Change Pastor Label
Under Pastor Label, replace "Pastor" with the singular version of the word you'd like to use instead of Pastor.
Examples: President, Chairman, Executive Director
NOTE: This label is only seen on the Admin website and does not show to members.
Change Activity Label
Under Activity Label Singular, replace "Activity" with the singular version of the word you'd like to use instead of Activity.
Under Activities Label Plural, replace "Activities" with the plural version of the word you'd like to use instead of Activities.
Examples: Event and Events, Campaign and Campaigns, Fundraiser and Fundraisers. Club and Clubs
NOTE: On the member website and mobile apps, you will not see the Activity label. You will continue to see "Additional Pages." This is so that in the future we can add other pages such as custom PDF files you can upload.
Change Group Label
Under Group Label Singular, replace "Group" with the singular version of the word you'd like to use instead of Group.
Under Group Label Plural, replace "Groups" with the plural version of the word you'd like to use instead of Groups.
Examples: Committee and Committees, Class and Classes, Support Group and Support Groups
