How to Add and Use Custom Pages in Your Directory
Custom Pages allow you to include additional content in your directory PDF—such as newsletters, event schedules, or special announcements.
This article walks through how to upload, include, and manage Custom Pages.
What Are Custom Pages?
Custom Pages are PDF files that you create, upload and insert into your directory.
Common examples include:
- Event flyers
- Ministry schedules
- Church policies or forms
- Special announcements
Step 1: Upload a Custom Page
- Log in as an Admin
- Click Customize in the left menu
- Select PDF Pages
- Click Upload Custom Page
- Choose your PDF file and upload it
Once uploaded, your Custom Page will appear in the list of available pages.

Step 2: Add the Custom Page to Your Directory
After uploading:
- Make sure your Custom Page is checked in the list
- Drag and drop it to the desired position in your directory
This controls where the page will appear in your generated PDF.

Step 3: Generate or Update Your PDF
- Go to the PDF tab
- Generate or Update your directory
Your Custom Page will be included based on:
- Whether it is checked
- Where it is placed in the order
👉 See Generating your directory, subdirectories and addendums.
Important: Showing Custom Pages in the Member App
To make Custom Pages visible in the Member App or website:
- Click Member Apps in the left menu
- Make sure Enable Member Apps is turned on
- Turn ON Show Custom Pages in Member Apps
If this setting is off, your Custom Pages will not appear in the app—even if they are included in your PDF.

Important: PDF vs Member App Behavior
Custom Pages behave differently in the PDF vs the Member App.
In the PDF:
- Pages appear in the exact order you set in PDF Pages
In the Member App / Website:
- Custom Pages are displayed alphabetically by title
- The order you set in PDF Pages does not apply here
If your pages seem “out of order” in the app, this is expected behavior.
Tips for Better Organization
- Use clear, simple titles for your Custom Pages
- If order matters in the app, consider naming pages with a prefix (for example: “1 - Schedule”, “2 - Events”)
- Keep file names and page titles consistent for easy identification
