How to Add and Use Additional Pages in Your Directory
Additional Pages (formerly called "Custom Pages") let you include your own content — newsletters, event schedules, announcements — in your printed directory PDF, your Member App, and your member website.
What Are Additional Pages?
Additional Pages are PDF files that you upload. Common examples include:
- Event flyers
- Ministry schedules
- Church policies or forms
- Special announcements
Each uploaded file can be up to 12 MB and 20 pages.
Step 1: Upload an Additional Page
- Log in as an Admin
- Click Additional Pages in the left menu
- Click Upload Additional Page
- Choose your PDF file and upload it
Once uploaded, your page appears in the Additional Pages list with two toggles:
- App — show this page in the Member App and member website
- PDF — include this page in the printed PDF
Both are on by default, so a newly uploaded page shows everywhere until you turn one off.
Step 2: Set the Order
Additional Pages have two independent orders, because the PDF and the app/website are laid out differently:
| Where | How order is set |
|---|---|
| Printed PDF | Drag and drop pages on Customize → PDF Pages |
| Member App / Website | Drag and drop pages on Additional Pages |
Changing the order in one place does not affect the other. If you want a page to appear first in both the PDF and the app, you'll need to set its position in both places.
Tip: If order matters to you, consider prefixing page titles (e.g., "1 - Schedule", "2 - Events") so the intended order is obvious at a glance in both lists.
Step 3: Generate or Update Your PDF
- Go to the PDF tab
- Generate or Update your directory
Your Additional Page will be included in the PDF based on:
- Whether its PDF toggle is on
- Its position in the Customize → PDF Pages order
👉 See Generating your directory, subdirectories and addendums.
Step 4: Show Additional Pages in the Member App
To make Additional Pages visible in the Member App or website:
- Click Member Apps in the left menu
- Make sure Enable Member Apps is turned on
- Turn on Show Additional Pages in Member Apps
This is a master switch. Even with it on, an individual page only shows in the app if its own App toggle (on the Additional Pages screen) is also on.
👉 See Navigating the Mobile Apps.

Important: PDF vs. Member App/Website Behavior
Additional Pages behave independently in the PDF vs. the Member App/Website:
|
|
Order comes from | Visibility comes from |
|---|---|---|
| Printed PDF | Order set on Customize → PDF Pages | The page's PDF toggle + "Show Additional Pages" master switch does not apply here |
| Member App / Website | Order set on the Additional Pages screen (drag and drop) | The page's App toggle and the "Show Additional Pages in Member Apps" master switch on Member Apps |
If a page looks "out of order" or missing in one place but not the other, check the relevant toggle and order screen for that surface — they're managed separately.
Tips for Better Organization
- Use clear, simple titles for your Additional Pages
- Since app/website order and PDF order are set independently, decide on a naming convention (like a number prefix) if you want the order to be obvious in both lists
- Keep file names and page titles consistent for easy identification
