How to Read the Member Login Status Report
The Member Login Status report offers a clear picture of how your members are accessing Instant Church Directory. It breaks down usage by families, individual emails, and platform (mobile app or website), helping you monitor engagement and adoption trends.
Note: This report was introduced on June 21, 2025, and displays data from that date forward. While member login activity has been tracked internally in earlier formats, this new report reflects only login activity captured using our current reporting system. You may not see logins that occurred before June 21 reflected in this view.

What the Report Shows
This report summarizes member login activity, including:
- How many families and email addresses have logged in
- Which platforms members are using (mobile app or website)
- A list of the most recent logins by family

Key Metrics Overview
At the top of the report, you’ll see four color-coded summary cards:
Families Logged In (Blue)
Number of unique families who have accessed the directory
Emails Logged In (Green)
Number of unique email addresses that have logged in
Mobile App Users (Yellow)
Number of users who accessed via the mobile app
Website Users (Blue)
Number of users who accessed via the Member Website
These numbers update automatically as new login activity occurs.
Login Statistics Explained
This section provides percentages that give context to the summary numbers:
Total Unique Family Logins
Formula: Families Logged In ÷ Total Families with Emails
This helps you gauge overall family participation.
Total Emails Logged In
Formula: Emails Logged In ÷ Total Registered Emails
Useful for understanding how many individuals are accessing the directory.

Reviewing Recent Activity
Scroll to the bottom of the report to see the Recent Logins by Family table. This section includes:
- Family Name
- First Name
- Email Address
- Access Date/Time
- Access Type (Web or Mobile)

Understanding Timestamps (UTC Time Zone)
The Access Date/Time in the Recent Logins section is displayed in UTC (Coordinated Universal Time).
Be sure to adjust for Daylight Saving Time if it’s currently in effect.
Use the chart below to convert UTC to your local U.S. time zone:

Reminder: If any section appears blank, it simply means there has been no activity in that category since the report began on June 21, 2025.
Troubleshooting
If your report seems incomplete or empty:
- Make sure Member Apps are enabled in your directory settings
- Confirm that members have verified their email addresses and logged in successfully
- Allow time for data to appear if your directory was recently launched
- Remember: This report only includes logins from June 21, 2025 onward
