Family Import Templates
When using our family import tool, you can either use an existing .CSV file that you've created, or you can use one of the templates we've provided to get started.
Currently, the import tool allows each family to have a maximum of 4 adults and 6 children per family. Any additional members will need to be added manually after import.
Template: Up to 2 Adults, 4 Children per family
If you have any families or households with no more than 2 adults or families with no more than 4 children, then we recommend using this template.
Template: Up to 4 Adults, 6 Children per family
If you have any families or households with 2-4 adults or families with 4-6 children then we recommend using this template.
Using Excel or Google Sheets to update an existing CSV file
If you'd like to modify an existing CSV file to import into Instant Church Directory, here are the column titles that we use. This is an optional step, but by renaming your columns to match ours, your columns will automatically map during the import process.
