Logging into the Members’ Directory Website

Welcome! This guide walks you through how to sign in to your church’s online member directory using Instant Church Directory. Whether you prefer using a secure sign-in link or setting a password, we’ve got you covered.

Note: This article refers to the Instant Church Directory login site as the “Member Website.”

Sign In Using Secure Link (No Password Needed)

Step 1: Open the Sign-In Page

Open your browser and go to the Online Member Directory Sign-In Page.

Step 2: Request Your Secure Sign-In Link

1. Type your email address exactly as it appears in the church directory.
2. Click Send Secure Sign-In Link.
3. Look in your inbox for an email from no-reply@instantchurchdirectory.com.

Step 3: Sign In from Your Email

• Open the email and click the secure link.

OR

• Copy the 6-digit code from the email and paste it into the Member Website.

When prompted, choose whether to stay signed in:

• Yes, stay logged in – if you're on a personal or private device.
• No, not now – if you're on a shared or public device.

Security Reminder: Always choose “No, not now” on shared devices and log out when you’re finished.

Sign In Using Email and Password

Use this option only if you’ve previously created a password. If not, follow the secure link method above.

Step 1: Open the Sign-In Page

Go to the Online Member Directory Sign-In Page.

Step 2: Enter Your Credentials

1. Type your email address (the one your church uses for the directory).
2. Enter your password.
3. Click Sign In.

Step 3: Reset a Forgotten Password

• Click Forgot your password?
• Enter your email and click Send Password Reset Email.
• Follow the link in your inbox to reset your password.

Security Tip: Use “Remember Me” only on personal or trusted devices.

Log Out of Member Website

To completely log out of your account:

• Click your name in the top-right corner.
• Select Sign Out from the dropdown menu.

For shared computers, we recommend clearing browser history or cookies after logging out.

Troubleshooting Tips

Secure Link Sign-In

• Didn’t get the email?
  • Check your spam or junk folder
  • Ensure your email matches what’s in the church directory
  • Contact your Directory Admin to verify your email address
• Link expired?
  • Links expire after 24 hours. Go back to the sign-in page and request a new link.
• Email not recognized?
  • Your email may not be listed in the directory
  • The directory might not be published yet
  • Your church’s subscription may be paused or inactive

In these cases, contact your Directory Administrator.

Email and Password Sign-In

• Use Forgot your password? to reset your credentials
• Double-check that your email matches your church’s directory exactly
• If the password option doesn’t appear, a password has not been set—use the secure link method instead
